Solid place to get consistent good eats. I have been there several times -- in the past and more recently. Good shakes. Good burgers. Great baklava. Good fries and lots of them. I like the fact that if I order a burger to eat there, I can dress it up with the type and amount of veggies I want. Plenty of menu choices. Food seems to be cooked to order.

With that said,  there is lots of competition in the area. With lots of competition, you have to make customers want to come back -- especially when you are a local restaurant (small business and/or family-owned). If you are a local joint but have a lot of competition, you have to give someone a reason to drive up to your window or go across the threshold of your door. You HAVE TO HAVE SMILING FACES. You can't have a glum, non-happy sourpuss  working your counter at any time! You have to have your most cheerful people working the front counter.

The other day, I was served by a young woman who was obviously not having a good day and I was getting the negative vibes. She was being curt, and looked/seemed angry. We all have bad days, but she should not have been up front that day. I will not not come back because of that one experience, but if it were to happen again, I'd think, hmmm, there's so many other choices on this one mile stretch of highway, maybe I'll just not go there again. I'll say it again, if you are a small business/family-owned business, and you have competition, you have to set yourself apart from the rest. I can go into Chick-Fil-A six days a week, and see smiling faces with well-mannered small talk, and pay about the same price for what I get from a place that also sells chicken, but without a sourpuss disposition. Doesn't take me long to drive somewhere  else....

We eat here almost once per week, and we love it.  It is consistently delicious.  Fresh, crisp salads, yummy sandwiches and the chicken fajita wrap is so tasty!!!  We are always shocked there aren't more patrons there!

Just watched your entire kitchen staff make food without any gloves on. Dude was scratching his head and grabbing buns right after. Watched the guy who made my burger shake it before dropping it in the to go bag. This isn't just disgusting it's unprofessional. NO GLOVES!!! Are you kidding? Your food is good but that doesn't mean I want your dirty ass hands all over my Burger!

Won't ever go back. Ordered a steak n sack which used to be my favorite here, but the entire place has gone down in quality. The meat was tough and I was unable to chew it without spitting it into my napkin. Ended up throwing almost the entire meal in the garbage. Doesn't feel very well kept up anymore. Beware!

There is a reason the restaurant next door to Glen Gene's is always busy and Glen Gene's is not. Service. Ordered at the drive thru only to find the worst person they could find in the customer service department to take my order. You folks need to go next door and see the difference. I ordered a simple Italian sandwich which she never asked me how I wanted it only to get it wrong twice. I had to go in the "restaurant" and ask for my money back. What I waste of my stop. How can you possibly try to stay in business with your business model.
